One Stop Justice of the Peace Service

Get your marriage or civil union license and be married within an hour!

Make an appointment with the Town Clerk's office to get your marriage license for the town where you are going to be married.
Set up an appointment with Marj to meet you at your Town Hall and pre-pay for your JP services.
At your appointment you and your betrothed fill out a marriage license application.
The clerk creates the license.
You and your partner check the information, sign it, and pay the clerk the license fee ($50).
Marj performs a brief ceremony with an exchange of rings.
Marj signs the marriage license.
Your married!
Marj returns the license to the clerk.
Depending on the town's policy, the town clerk can give you a copy of the license ($20 each) on the spot, or you request it in a few days, in person or online.

NOTE:

Different towns do things different. Please consult the list of town halls for the town where you are going to be married for more info. You do not need an appointment in New Haven and Fridays are their busiest days.
